My error message reads Failed to receive the version info Please check internet connection. My internet is fine, Any solutions for this problem? Hello orochibebop, Your issue maybe due to the DNS problem. So please manually patch the game. You could find the patch file here: divinesoul.freeforums.net/thread/73/5th-november-2013-manual-patch

Hi, currently I have a weird problem. I have installed the game on my computer. And now I copy it to my notebook. After installing the PhsyX and VC2005 I run the launcher and press start but nothing loaded. Not even the nprotect. Any solution? Or this game is just not copy able and must fully installed each time?

Divine Souls was only suffering random freezing issues beforehand.
Now, DS is failing to load up by providing a "PhysX initialize fail." error everytime the logo appears onscreen before even loading the game window.
I have attempted reinstalling PhysX and restarting my computer several times with no progress.
Second, I tried loading up CCleaner to examine if any registry errors were a potential issue, after cleaning the registry several times, still no progress.
Next, I proceeded to uninstall DS, delete the remaining GAMEPRIX folder & installing DS via the Desura platform verifying the Game Files and Game Installation with no luck as well.
My desktop contains an ATI Radeon HD 5570 running on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and, I have attempted updating the GPU drivers along with the AMD Catalyst Control Center testing both the latest Stable & Beta versions (restarting my desktop with each), the "PhysX initialize fail." error STILL appears on my screen.
My next attempt will involve running Divine Souls via VMWare on a simulated Windows XP Professional SP2 (32-bit) OS utilizing VMWare, IF this works, expected results will be an expected amount of FPS lag due to the game running in a virtual environment, if this STILL doesn't work...well...Operation Tactical Facedesk.
I will post the results of the VMWare tests as soon as possible.
Finally, I have tested VMWare, and a different error occurred, particularly GameGuard Error 114, which also prevented the game from loading up on the Virtual OS.

Thank you Turns out that both dlls were not within the game folder, after locating the missing dlls at C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common and inserting them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Common\divine-souls\ I attempted to reboot the game, however the error still occurred. Second, after doing some research I learned that Nvidia had released a newer version of their PhysX System Software (9.13.0725) compared to the version of PhysX System Software (9.12.1031) included with the Divine Souls installation. Next, after uninstalling the outdated PhysX Software and dlls and replacing them with the latest version, Divine Souls finally loaded successfully! *A link for PhysX Version 9.13.0725 www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.0725-driver.htmlHowever, any rejoicing was short-lived, as Divine Souls froze within 1 minute after logging in, which now leads me to the log file documentation.
